On the occasion of World Elephant Day, Happy Hours School transformed learning into meaningful action by engaging students of Grades 6–12 in a series of thoughtfully designed conservation activities. Centred around the theme "Celebrate. Educate. Conserve.", each grade explored the significance of protecting elephants, tigers, and their shared habitats through creative expression, research, collaboration, and advocacy.
From heartfelt letters to nature and wildlife fact files to short plays, posters, and awareness campaigns, students showcased their understanding of biodiversity, human-wildlife coexistence, and the urgent need for conservation. Every activity encouraged learners to think critically, express compassion, and become responsible stewards of the environment.
The initiative reinforced the message that conservation begins with awareness, and every individual has the power to make a difference. Through these engaging experiences, our students not only celebrated World Elephant Day but also pledged to protect the giants that keep our ecosystems thriving.
